Designed for those who want to jump start the design or real estate staging process process. We will meet with you and/or your real estate agent to make suggestions for the interior and exterior. This involves our coming to your home and walking through each room inside, and then outside to make suggestions for curb appeal appropriate to your needs. We suggest that you take notes as we walk, ask questions, and then you will have your own working document to begin updating and changing your environment.
Cost- 100-150 dollars depending on the size of the house. Time for this consult is approximately 60 to 90 minutes. There will be an additional charge for any extra time that may be required. An extra fee may be assessed for extended travel.
Similar to the Walk and Talk Consult but more comprehensive. We provide you with written detail and instructions to make your home environment just right for selling or living in. We record our own notes and present you with a working document in two business days. This report will have a list of steps to take, items to purchase, suggestions specific to your needs and desires, as well as general tips appropriate to your situation.
Cost- The cost for these services is on a case by case basis. We would be happy to give you an estimate..

STAGING
The client had some nice items, however, we tweaked it for the real estate market.
Before

Again, we started the purging process, sorting and re-arranging, and de-personalizing.

Kitchen Update
The washer and dryer were exposed and the refrigerator's placement was an eyesore. Shelving and cabinets also cluttered the look. The kitchen was outdated.
Before

Before - Kitchen (below)
The chandelier was added to begin the process of transformation. Old outdated cabinets and appliances need a major facelift.

After-Kitchen (below)
Antique vanity pulls were discovered at an antique shop and used on the cabinets to complement the chandelier. Other updates were made to the kitchen for more living ease.

Restore (Below)
A basic chest of drawers was painted cream with green trim, and new star knobs were added to provide extra storage in this child's room we helped design.

"I would wholeheartedly recommend Sublime for your design needs. I have known them to be talented professionals with unique creative skills. I have interfaced with other designers, but have found none that I think have the talent and sensitivity to understand my style, and how I relate to my environment the ways they have. They have assisted me in a variety of ways in different homes." -Elizabeth F, Carrollton, Va.

STAGING
We removed personal items, hid the outlet and created a cleaner look
After

We used objects and items from around the house, and items which were already present. Small changes welcome a prospective buyer.

Kitchen Update
We considered putting up a wall. In the end, a custom drape was more appealing and provided visual interest. An old typesetter's table serves double duty as breakfast bar and an extra place for food serving or preparation when needed. Shelves and cabinetry were removed for a less cluttered look.

After- Kitchen (below)
We loved the original size of the cabinets but they needed more elegance and impact. Large dentil molding now crowns them. The cabinets were sealed and painted a rich cream, and a copper backsplash in a Victorian tin look was added and hand rubbed for the right patina. New countertops, porcelain sink, beadboard and chair rail were added. The ceiling was painted a pale sky blue to enhance the feeling of openness. Changes were in keeping with this modest style home built in 1918. Bronze fixtures will replace nickel color at sink. Heated tile will be installed to set off the look and provide comfort for bare feet!

Design Details (Below)
We love details! Custom topper was created for the child's room in crisp white sheeting. Points were set off by yellow stars and painted half moons. Tricia and Linda designed the templates and Tricia constructed them from wood. Linda painted them for a one-of-a-kind look.

Events
Below and left- Table set for Thanksgiving. An authentic Japanese obi sash was used as a table runner. Fresh leaves from the yard and other saved embellishments garnish the table.

Left - Buffet is adorned with painted gourds, autumn leaves, berries and desserts.
